Lagos police go after man operating gay bar

The Lagos State Police Command has intensified a manhunt for a 41-year-old man for allegedly operating a gay bar in the metropolis. Operated just like a night club, it is located at kilometre 10 along Badagry Expressway.
Two staff were arrested yesterday when police raided the bar, known as Izu Home for Real Men’. A police source said that the staff have made useful statements and are currently assisting to track down the owner of the place.
The source said when police arrived, they saw bodyguards at the entrance and only those with valid membership cards are allowed in.
Lagos Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Dolapo Badmos said that the police was still investigating the allegation.
